What is Mezcla??
Mezcla translated means mixture, or variety. That is exactly what our mission entails. Mezcla was formed in order to provide Northwestern Students the opportunity to showcase themselves in a variety of ways from dancing or singing to reciting a poem or painting a portrait. Mezcla provides students an outlet to express themselves and their culture freely.
Although Mezcla is a Hispanic/Latino based organiztion, it has grown and opened its doors to students and organizations of all shades and backgrounds. Mezcla promotes diversity not only through various showcases of talents, but also through the diversity of its performers and members. The goal of Mezcla is not only to promote activity within Mezcla, but also to reach out to the entire student body and encourage them to showcase their talents for all to see.
